VisionR is completely internationalized. Both the application (GUI) and the user data are internationalized and stored in accordance with the specific country's standards and formats. VisionR implements different ISO format / language / internationalization standards. As a result operators can use their native language to read, write and search data stored within the server. This enables the seamless facilitation of the system by multi-national enterprises.

Module "Internationalisation"

Description

VisionR can be used in different languages on a single installation. UTF-8 is enabled for all data transfers. There is a default language, which is set upon installation (normally English). Any other language from the ISO language list can be activated. Upon activation, the new language appears on every VisionR mask. Not only definitions (masks, buttons, object definitions, property names etc.) can be used in any language, but the data itself can be translated. Translation masks display the translation rate. All international values can be exported and translated externally (e.g. as a Microsoft Excel table) and then be imported back to VisionR. Values in the default language are automatically displayed, when the translated value for the current language is not found. All modules are normally delivered with full translation in English and German. Additional languages can be ordered. Customers is able to make their own translations.
