Description
The VisionR module "Online shops" is used to manage online orders of products. Prices from different vendors for the same product can be stored in the database. The module can handle multiple shops on the same web server for users with different access rights. The layout for an online shop can be customized to meet the customers needs. It can be easily integrated into existing web sites. Interfaces to product databases are possible. There is a hierarchical structure for the offered product articles or single product items. Notifications for the online shop administrators keep track of product availability. There is a built-in confirmation mechanism, sending an e-mail notification with attached invoice for the online shop customers. Customers have access to online status tracking masks to be kept informed on the proceedings around their ordered products. Extensive reporting on product orders in the past provide information about customer behavior. External contractors can have access to order data, when deliveries are processed by other vendors.
