VisionR implements a content management system of its own. It can work with articles, connect them with hierarchical structure of menus and edit them as plain HTML text or by the integrated WYSIWYG editor (What You See Is What You Get). The CMS module provides support for templates, CSS styling and dynamic scripting and delivery of arbitrary VisionR managed data assets It also supports HTML snippets(widgets) within.
Description

The VisionR module "Websites (CMS)" is used to manage one or multiple web sites. The content on a web site is structured in sections, menus, menu items, articles and widgets. All images and other documents displayed on the web site are managed in the attached VisionR module "Documents". Dynamic templates provide layout flexibility. CSS attributes are managed in the VisionR database. A built-in WYSIWYG editor (What You See Is What You Get) makes content changes easy. Content changes are saved in the database, so that previous contents can be viewed and restored. Dynamic content is managed in scripts: VisionR Script, JavaScript, JQuery. There is a plug-in functionality providing means to integrate other web site technologies. Access rights and publishing status define which contents are visible for the web site visitors. Additional content can be placed in widgets on different positions, according to widget group definitions.
